Essay 3: Scrapbooking Project
For this particular scrapbooking project I would like to be able to tie in all my thoughts about the past, the present and the future. All of these aspects connect with me on where I am today, and where I want to be in the future. From all these things it has led me to where I am and have shaped me into the person that I am. I will tie in pictures with things such as my family, friends, going to college at NMSU. I also want to talk about my major (Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism, and Management) I am very focused on school right now with the hopes of in the future becoming a event planner for either a hotel, or company. I would like to maybe also tie in all my hobbies, such as hiking, swimming, and being outdoors. I feel like with all the different units I would be able to tie all of this in very nicely.

ReplyDeleteI'd like to see you focus your representation a bit more. You are such a complex and interesting person that it would be impossible to do justice to who you are in four slides/min of video/pages. Instead, try focusing on one aspect of who you are. For example, could you focus on you as a sister, you as a friend, you as an NMSU student? I like that you mention your major. Maybe that could be your focus - the past part of your project could explain what lead you to the major, the present would explain classes and internships you are currently doing, and the future might focus on your ideal job.
Just keep on focusing and think of ways to perform one small aspect of your identity. Feel free to shoot me an email if you want to discuss your topic further.
